Python & SQL
Data manipulation and analysis
Pandas, NumPy and SQL are my base tools: cleaning, joining and querying data of any size, turning raw information into something ready to analyse.
I'm Luiz, a Data Analyst based in Porto. I came from basketball into tech and I kept the same instinct: read the game, understand the pattern, and help the team make better decisions.
I turn raw data into decisions: exploratory analysis, SQL, hypothesis testing and dashboards that answer real business questions, from notebook to production.

From idea to insight. Clean, organised datasets built for clear presentation and better decisions.

Data manipulation and analysis

Cleaning and interactive presentation
I take messy, disorganised data and make it trustworthy, then turn the result into interactive dashboards anyone can explore and understand.
Claude & Claude Code
I use Claude and Claude Code daily to speed up analysis: automating cleaning, prototyping scripts faster, and building dashboards with a copilot that understands the project context.
Exchange programme in Canada
I lived and studied in Canada, which gave me real fluency: not classroom English, but everyday conversation, teamwork and professional settings.
seaborn & matplotlib
Boxplots, distributions and comparison charts across sprints 6 to 10: the plots that carried each finding, from platform sales to ride durations under bad weather.
SciPy
Welch and Student t-tests, Mann-Whitney on skewed revenue, variance checks before every test. Sprints 6, 7 and 9, each with the test choice justified in the notebook.
BeautifulSoup & requests
Scraped Chicago weather records from an HTML table and joined them to trip data by timestamp for the Zuber hypothesis test in sprint 7.
Versioned portfolio
Every sprint lives in its own public repository, and this site ships from a Git-connected pipeline: branch, preview, merge, production.
TripleTen track
Business dashboards and DAX are next on the track. This card fills in when the first real report is done.
TripleTen track
Window functions, CTEs and query optimisation, building on the PostgreSQL work from sprint 7.
TripleTen track
Pivot tables, lookups and analysis workflows for the teams that live in spreadsheets.
